About Artwork

I've painted over this canvas a few times as I've never been happy with the art. It's only now I've realised that each time I paint over the old work I've moved into a new phase of my life ... a new phase of the narrative I was working through.I defeated whatever anxiety that made me pick up the paint brush in the first place....I decided to name this piece Ntombizodwa which means only girls or girls only.The piece before this was called Intersectional Hypervigilance
